Another milestone...

Well, today did not start out very well. I am under the weather today so in trying to listen to my body's needs, I stayed home from work...I'm starting to get used to these days sprinkled between great days. Oh well...

But just a few hours ago, I was sitting on the couch relaxing with the puppies when the baby started kicking. After a few of them, I felt one in a very specific spot on the right side of my tummy. I thought maybe he's stay in the same spot, so I put my hand in what I thought was the right spot and pushed into my tummy a bit to get closer to him...and sure enough, he kicked me right in the palm of my hand! It was so awesome! I've never been able to feel the baby on the outside before so this is HUGE for me! I can't for another series of pointed kicks so maybe Doug can feel him for the first time! That would be awesome!! What a blessing on a mediocre day...
